1. The appearance of anti-corrosion steel pipes upon entering and leaving the warehouse should be inspected as follows:

① Inspect each pipe individually to ensure that the surface of the polyethylene layer is smooth and flat, free of bubbles, pits, wrinkles, and cracks, and the overall color is uniform. The surface of the steel pipe should not show excessive rust.

② The curvature of the steel pipe should be less than 0.2% of the pipe length, and its ellipticity should be less than 0.2% of the outer diameter. Local unevenness on the entire surface of the steel pipe should be less than 2mm.

2. The following points should be noted when transporting anti-corrosion steel pipes:

① Loading and unloading: Lifting tools that do not damage the pipe ends should be used to avoid damaging the anti-corrosion layer. All construction machinery and equipment must comply with regulations during loading and unloading. Before loading, the anti-corrosion grade, material, and wall thickness of the steel pipes should be checked in advance; mixed loading is not advisable.

② Transportation: Thrust baffles should be installed between the trailer and the cab. When transporting anti-corrosion steel pipes, they must be securely bundled, and protective measures must be taken promptly for the anti-corrosion layer. Rubber sheets or other soft materials should be used as padding between the anti-corrosion steel pipes and the vehicle frame or columns, as well as between the anti-corrosion steel pipes themselves.

3. What are the storage standards for anti-corrosion steel pipes?

① Steel pipes, fittings, and valves must be properly stored according to the instructions. During storage, they should be inspected regularly to prevent rust, deformation, and aging.

② Materials such as fiberglass cloth, heat-applied tape, and heat-shrinkable sleeves should be stored in dry, well-ventilated warehouses.

③ Steel pipes, fittings, and valves can be stored outdoors in categories. The chosen storage site must be flat, free of stones, and free of standing water. The slope should be between 1% and 2%, and drainage ditches should be provided.

④ Anti-corrosion steel pipes in warehouses should be stacked in layers, ensuring the pipes remain stable. They should be stacked separately according to different specifications and materials. Soft pads should be placed between each layer of anti-corrosion steel pipes. Two rows of sleepers should be laid under the lower layer of steel pipes, and the stacked steel pipes should be more than 50mm from the ground.

⑤ If construction is carried out on-site, the following storage requirements apply to the steel pipes: Two supports should be used at the bottom, with a spacing of approximately 4m to 8m between them. The anti-corrosion steel pipes should be at least 100mm above the ground. Flexible spacers should be placed between the supports and the anti-corrosion steel pipes, as well as between the anti-corrosion steel pipes themselves.
