▇ ▍ Description
The pipe fitting is a component that connects the pipe into a pipe. According to the coupling method, it can be divided into four types: socket pipe fitting, threaded pipe fitting, flanged pipe fitting and welded pipe fitting. The elbow is used for the pipe to turn; the flange is used to make the pipe The parts connected to the pipe are connected to the pipe end, the tee pipe is used for the place where the three pipes are collected, the four-way pipe(cross pipe) is used for the place where the four pipes are collected, and the reducer pipe is used for the connection of the two pipes of different pipe diameters.
1)Elbow
Elbow is a pipe fitting which used as a connection point between two pipes which can change the direction to any angle as per requirement. An elbow angle can be defined as the angle by which the flow direction deviates from its original flowing direction.Even though an elbow angle can be anything greater than 0 but less or equal to 90° but still a change in direction greater than 90° at a single point is not desirable. Normally, a 45° and a 90° elbow combinedly used while making piping layouts for such situations. As an ISO 9001:2008 Certificated Company, Prime Steel Pipe is a leading manufacturer and exporter for short radius elbows and long radius elbows with the materials of carbon steel, stainless stee and alloy steel. The material is selected according to the application use such as high temperature use, sanitary fitting use, regular industrial use etc. The long radius elbows have a center to end distance 1.5 times the NPS in inches ( R=1.5D), while the short radius is equal to the NPS in inches (R=1.0D). Short radius elbows are generally used in tight areas, and long elbows are used when sapce is available and flow is more critical. We can manufacturer elbows up to 72'' with wall thickness ranging from 2mm up to 80mm for varied sizes. For seamless elbow, the outside diameter ranges from 1/2'' to 24''. For erw/welded/fabricated elbow, the outside diameter ranges from 24'' to 72''. The elbow ends may be machined for buttwelding, threaded (usually female), or socketed. When the two ends differ in size, the fitting is called a reducing elbow or reducer elbow.
2)Reducer
A steel pipe reducer is a component used in the pipelines to reduce its size from large to small bore in accordance to the inner diameter. The length of the reduction here is equal to an average of the smaller and larger pipe diameters. Here, the reducer can be used as a nozzle. The reducer helps in meeting the existing piping of varied sizes or hydraulic flow of the piping systems.
3)Tee
Pipe Tee, Tee Fittings
A tee is also called triplet, three way and “T” pieces and it can be used to either combine or split a fluid flow. Most common are tees with the same inlet and outlet sizes, but ‘reducing’ tees are available as well. it means the one or two ends are differ in dimension.due to thisdimension differ, the makes the tee fittings with the capacity to control the volume when requried.
Steel pipe tee has three branches that can change fluid direction. It has T-shaped or Y-shaped, and include Equal Tee and Reducing Tee (Reducer Tee). Steel tee is widely used in pipe networks for convey liquids and gases.
4)Flange
Flange standard includes ASA / ANSI / ASME (USA), PN / DIN (European), BS10 (British / Australian), and JIS / KS (Japanese/Korean). In most cases, different flange standards are not interchangeable. For example, an ANSI/ASME flange can not be mate against a JIS flange. However, in real worldworld application, the flange standards are designed to have standardised dimensions so as to allow easy functionality and interchangeability. Flange Specification are determined by the size of the connecting pipes and the pressure class required for the application situation.

Carbon steel weld fittings is a pipe attachment detail in which a pipe is inserted into a recessed area of a Valve, fitting or flange. It is an iron carbon alloy which is mainly used for small pipe diameters. It is an exclusive choice of pipeline designers.
Carbon steel buttweld fittings is a part used in a piping system in order change the direction and branching or for change of pipe diameter, which is mechanically joined to the system. It is used for pipeline systems that are used to collect the water, natural gas, or crude oil; it is also used for those pipelines used to transport substances over distances from hundreds of feet to hundreds of miles. It is also used for the piping systems that are used to distribute water-refined liquids, natural gas, water, and so on, to the end user.
Carbon steel elbow sch 40 is a metal alloy. This is a combination of two elements i.e, iron and carbon. Other elements are also present in quantities which are too small to affect its properties.
Carbon steel 5d elbow is an elbow which radius is 3 times the pipe outside diameter. The radius of a 5D elbow is actually 5 times the nominal diameter. So if you had a 10" diameter pipe, the radius of the centreline of the 5d elbow would be 50 inches.
Carbon steel tee fitting are widely used as pipe fittings. It is a T-shaped pipe fitting having two outlets, at 90° to the connection to the main line. It is a short piece of pipe with a lateral outlet. It is usefulfor connecting pipelines with a pipe at a right angle with the line.
Carbon steel reducer is a pipe fitting which is used in process piping that reduces the pipe size from a larger bore to a smaller bore.
