Quenched materials often require tempering to adjust hardness and improve toughness.


Surface heat treatment: such as laser heat treatment, flame quenching induction heating heat treatment, etc., are mainly used to improve the performance of the material surface. These processes can improve the hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance of the material surface without changing the overall performance of the material.


Chemical heat treatment: such as carburizing, nitriding, etc., improves the surface properties of the material by forming a layer of compounds with high hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance on the surface of the material. These processes are commonly used in components such as gears and shafts that need to withstand high loads and wear.


In addition, the heat treatment process can also be applied to the aging treatment of light metal materials such as aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys to obtain higher mechanical properties.
