Classification of plastic-coated steel pipes in industry

The coating raw materials of plastic-coated steel pipes include epoxy resin (epoxy powder) and polyethylene. The inner wall of the pipe is coated with epoxy powder by hot melting, and the outer wall of the pipe is generally anti-corrosive with epoxy powder or polyethylene. Epoxy powder is a thermosetting coating. The steel pipe is first treated with shot blasting and rust removal, medium frequency heating, and then the epoxy powder is sprayed on the surface of the pipe by electrostatic spraying technology to solidify and form a coating.

According to the difference in coating raw materials, it includes inner and outer plastic-coated steel pipes, outer galvanized inner plastic-coated steel pipes, inner epoxy outer polyethylene anti-corrosion steel pipes, TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipes, etc.

According to the use, it includes fire-fighting plastic-coated steel pipes, mining plastic-coated steel pipes, water supply and drainage plastic-coated steel pipes, tap water supply plastic-coated steel pipes, and cable protection plastic-coated steel pipes.
