Billet heating quality requirements
(1) The heating temperature of the billet should be adjusted at any time according to the rolling situation. It is required that the billet is heated uniformly along the section and length. The temperature difference is ≤10 ℃, and there should be no yin and yang surfaces to prevent overheating and overburning.
(2) Heating is performed in strict accordance with the heating system. During normal production, the soaking section should maintain a feeble reducing flame.
(3) It should be heated according to the heating rate required by the heating system. For steel grades with high-temperature sensitivity (such as stainless steel, high-alloy steel, etc.), attention should be paid to controlling the furnace temperature during charging to ensure low temperature entering the furnace (the temperature in the preheating section is lower than 700 ℃).
